YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right not to sell your personal information. You have the right to request that we not sell your personal information.

Personal information for this section means the first name or initial and last name of a natural person in combination with one or more of the following data elements when the name and data elements are not encrypted: social security number, number driving license, driver's authorization card number or identity card number. Account number, credit card number, or debit card number, in combination with any required security code, access code, or password that allows access to the person's financial account. A medical identification number or health insurance identification number. A username, unique identifier, or e-mail address in combination with a password, access code, or security question and answer that would allow access to an online account.

Your rights under the GDPR

When you use our Platform and send us PD, you may have certain rights under the GDPR if you reside or are located in one of the countries of the European Union. Depending on the legal basis for processing your PD, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • The right to be informed - You have the right to be informed about the PDs we collect from you and how we process them.
  • The right of access - You have the right to obtain confirmation that your PD is being processed, and you can access your PD.
  • The right to rectification - You have the right to have your PD corrected if they are inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to erasure (right to be forgotten) - You have the right to request the removal or deletion of your PD if there are no compelling reasons to continue processing it.
  • The right to restrict processing: You have the right to "block" or restrict the processing of your PD. When your PDs are limited, we can store your data but not further process it.
  • The right to data portability - You have the right to request the PDs you provided to us and use them for your purposes. Contact us using the information at the top of this privacy statement to request your PD. We will provide you with your details within 30 days of your request.
  • The right to object - You have the right to object to the processing of your PD by us for the following reasons:
    • The processing was based on legitimate interests or the performance of a task of public interest/exercise of public authority (including profiling)
    • Direct marketing (including profiling)
    • Processing for scientific/historical and statistical research purposes
  • Rights concerning automated decision-making and profiling.
  • Automated individual decision-making and profiling - You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects on you or similarly significantly affects you.
  • File a complaint with the authorities - You have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authorities if your information has not been treated following the General Data Protection Regulation. Generally, you control the amount and type of information you provide to us when you use our Platform.

Our legal basis for the collection and processing of PDs

Our legal basis for collecting and processing your PD when you purchase our products or services is based on the need for and performance of a contract or the adoption of measures to enter into a contract. Our legal basis for collecting and processing your PD when you sign up for our newsletter, download free information, and access free audio, video, and webinars through our Platform, including information you enter using any of our forms of activation, is based on consent.

When you log in and use our Platform and agree to accept cookies, some of these cookies may contain your PD.

Our use of cookies

Google Ads and Content Network

Google Analytics

Our Platform uses Google Analytics to collect information on the use of our Platform. Google Analytics collects information from users such as age, gender, interests, demographics, how often they visit our Platform, which pages they see, and what other websites they used before accessing it. We use the information from Google Analytics to analyze traffic and improve our marketing, advertising, and Platform. Google Analytics only collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit our Platform, not your name or other identifying information. We do not combine information collected using Google Analytics with PD. Although Google Analytics installs a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you use our Platform, the cookie cannot be used by anyone other than Google.

Analytics

We use analysis and crash reporting services from various companies to gather information about the use of our Platform. Analytics collects information such as how often users visit our Platform, what pages they visit when they do, what other websites they used before accessing our Platform, and their IP addresses. We use the information we get from the analytics to improve our services.

Google Remarketing

Our Platform uses a remarketing advertising service. Our remarketing service is provided by Google and other companies that post our ads on websites on the Internet. With remarketing, you may see ads for our products that you have looked at previously. For example, suppose you visit a website that sells computers but doesn't buy one on the first visit. The website owner may encourage you to revisit their website and buy a computer by showing you their ads on other websites you visit. We use remarketing for similar purposes. Facebook Remarketing

What happens if you do not provide us with your PD

If you do not provide us with sufficient PD, we may not be able to provide you with all of our products and services. However, you can access and use certain parts of our Platform without giving us your PD.

 

HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED AND SHARED

We use the information we receive from you to:

  • Provide our products and services that you have requested or purchased from us
  • Customize and personalize our content
  • Make improvements to our Platform
  • Contact you with updates to our Platform, products, and services

Communications and E-mail

We do not sell or rent your PD to third parties for marketing purposes. However, we may use your NPD for data aggregation purposes, which may be sold to other parties at our discretion. Any such data aggregation would not contain any of your PDs. We may provide your PD to third-party service providers who we hire to provide services to us. These third-party service providers may include but are not limited to payment processors, web analytics companies, advertising networks, call centers, data management services, help desk providers, accountants, law firms, auditors accounts, e-mail service providers, and shopping cart and shipping companies.

Sharing your PD with other users

If you access our Platform through a third-party social networking service or website, your list of "friends" from that service or website may be automatically imported into our Platform. We have no control over other third-party services or websites' privacy policies and business practices.

Sharing your PD for similar or similar audience marketing

We may share your PD with third parties for similar audience marketing purposes. Similar audience marketing is also called similar audience marketing. The third parties we share your PD with for this type of marketing include Facebook and/or Google. Using your PD for similar audience marketing or similar audience marketing helps us find new audiences (users and customers) based on interests similar to yours. This helps us improve our marketing services. Your PD is only shared with Facebook and Google for this type of marketing. By using our Platform and accepting our privacy policy, you consent to use your PD for the marketing purposes described in this section.

Sharing Your Information When You Log In Using Social Media Websites

We may share your information with third parties such as Facebook.com, YouTube.com, Instagram.com, and Google.com. Suppose you log in to our Platform using these third parties or other social media websites. In that case, you agree to let us use and store your profile information from those websites to make the best use of the social media features on our Platform. This sharing of information helps us to provide you with a better experience while using our Platform and our services. It also provides us with helpful information such as visitor traffic. If you use one of the social sharing icons on our Platform to share our data, you may also share your personal information through social media websites.

Release of Information

We may be legally required to disclose your PD if such disclosure is:

Disclosures to successors

If our business is sold or merges in whole or in part with another business responsible for providing our Platform to you, we reserve the right to transfer your PD to the new business. The new company reserves the right to use your PD under the terms of this privacy policy as well as any changes to this privacy policy as established by the new business. We also reserve the right to transfer your PD if our company goes bankrupt and some or all of our assets are sold to another individual or company.

 

STORAGE AND DESTRUCTION OF YOUR PD 

Your information may be stored in electronic, paper, or a combination of both forms. We keep the information we collect from you (including your PD) only for as long as it is necessary for legal, commercial, or tax purposes. When your information is no longer needed, we will destroy, delete or delete it.

 

UPDATING YOUR PD 

You can update your PD using the services available on our Platform. If there are no such services, you can contact us using the contact information at the top of this privacy policy, and we will help you. However, we may retain your PD as necessary to enforce our agreements and comply with any legal obligations.

REVOKING YOUR CONSENT TO USE YOUR PD

You have the right to revoke your consent to use your PD at any time. Such waiver will not affect disclosures otherwise permitted by law, including but not limited to:

  • Disclosures to government agencies or law enforcement departments, or as otherwise required by applicable law,
  • Previously completed disclosures to third parties,  
  • Communications to third parties in connection with subsequent contests or promotions that you may choose to enter or offers from third parties that you may accept. DO NOT TRACK SETTINGS

Some web browsers have settings that allow you to request that we do not track your movements within our Platform. Our Platform does not obey these settings when transmitted to and detected by our Platform. You can disable the tracking functions and other security settings by referring to your browser's user manual.

 

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our Platform may contain links to other websites. These websites are not under our control and are not subject to our privacy policy. These websites are likely to have privacy policies. We have no responsibility for these websites and are providing links to these websites solely for your convenience. You acknowledge that using and accessing these websites is your own risk. You are responsible for checking these websites' privacy policies to see how they treat your PD.

 

PROTECTION OF THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN

Although our Platform is not designed for use by persons under 18, we understand that a child under 18 may attempt to access our Platform. We do not knowingly collect PD from children under the age of 18. Please contact us if you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using our Platform. Before removing any information, we may ask for proof of identification to prevent malicious removal of account information. If a child is accessing our Platform, we will delete their data within a reasonable period. You acknowledge that we do not verify the age of our users nor have any responsibility in this regard.

 

OUR E-MAIL POLICY 

You can always opt-out of receiving e-mail correspondence from us or our affiliates. We will not sell, rent or trade your e-mail address with unaffiliated third parties without your permission, except in the sale or transfer of our business or if our company goes bankrupt.

 

OUR SECURITY POLICY

We built our Platform using industry-standard security measures and authentication tools to protect the security of your PD. We and third parties who provide services to us also maintain technical and physical safeguards to protect your PD. Unfortunately, due to its nature, we cannot guarantee the prevention of the loss or misuse of your PD or the secure transmission of data over the Internet. We strongly encourage you to protect any passwords for our Platform and not share them with anyone.

 

USING YOUR CREDIT CARD

You may need to provide a credit card to purchase products and services from our Platform. We use third-party billing services and have no control over them. We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that your credit card number is kept strictly confidential by using only third-party billing services that use industry-standard encryption technology to protect your credit card number from unauthorized use. However, you understand and agree that we are in no way responsible for misusing your credit card number.

 

PD TRANSFER FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION

The PDs we collect from you can be stored, processed, and transferred between all the countries in which we operate. The European Union has not found that the United States and some other countries have adequate PD protection under Article 45 of the GDPR. Our company relies on exemptions for specific situations defined in article 49 of the GDPR. Suppose you are a customer or user of the European Union, with your consent. When you ask us for information, your PD may be transferred to the United States or other countries outside the European Union. When you purchase goods or services from us, we will use your PD to perform a contract or take steps to enter a contract. Wherever we transfer, process, or store your PD, we will take reasonable steps to protect it. We will use the information we collect from you following our privacy policy. By using our Platform, our services, or our products, you accept the transfers of your PDs described in this section.

 

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change this privacy statement at any time. If our company decides to modify this privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Platform so that our users and customers are always aware of what information we collect, use and disclose. If we decide to disclose or use your PD in a method other than that specified at the time of collection, we will provide you with an e-mail notice sent to the e-mail address registered in your account. Otherwise, we will use and disclose the PDs of our users and customers by the privacy policy in force when the information is collected. Your continued use of our Platform, services, and products after any change to this privacy policy will constitute acceptance of that change.
